Today on our 2020 Kia Telluride we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the K-Source dual lens universal fit towing mirror, which is sold as a set. A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view whenever we're pulling a trailer down the road and that's really going to come in handy whenever we're making those lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or even just wanting to keep a better eye on what's going on behind us.Now since this towing mirror has dual lenses, you're going to have maximum adjustability to find that awesome spot that works great for you. Now to give you an example of how much more you're going to be able to see, as you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not in our factory mirror. And if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror and that's really going to help eliminate any blind spots as well.One of the main questions we get in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to get any noise or vibration, especially at high speed. Let's be honest with you, this one does fit really tight and it'll actually move our whole factory mirror. more

Well, if he grab this one then really kind of shake it around, we are going to have a little bit of movement, but my opinion, it's not going to be enough to really bother you at all. The straps that hold our towing mirror in place really aren't going to hardly obstruct our turn signal, so we're not going to lose that extra safety feature. more

If I take a few steps in towards my trailers, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up; but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror.The mirror's tabs are not going to come in contact or interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can even still fold it in.Both mirrors are adjustable 360 degrees. So if you want to turn it to that horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. Now, they're also adjustable to different angles. more

That's where our towing mirror's going to come into play. It's going to make it a lot safer and a lot easier for us to change lanes on the highway, park our trailer, or even pull up to the camp grounds.Our universal towing mirror is going to provide us that extra field of view, so whenever we're towing our trailer we know exactly what's going on around us, and it's also going to prevent us from having to stick our head out the window and really stretch to see what's going on back there. It's going to provide us that extra field of view with the extra mirror that's going to be on there, and it is fully adjustable, so we're going to be able to find that perfect angle whenever we're driving down the road.And the way the mirror's going to attach is very simple. We're just going to have these two rubber straps that are going to come underneath and up top and hook onto some tabs on the mirror arm. more

Cipa Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Kia Sorento 7070- Video
Today on our 2017 Kia Sorento, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the clip-on towing mirror, part number 7070. Now, we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer and we've placed on our towing mirror. You can see all the way to the back of our trailer with our factory mirror, though if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to be great whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our clip-on towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view. The plastic tabs at the top and the bottom of our towing mirror hold our towing mirror to the housing of our factory mirror, but it won't interfere with our factory mirror. We can still adjust it. more

Now, we've gone ahead and hooked up to our trailer and we have our towing mirror installed. Here at the back of our trailer we have a perfect view with our factory mirror, though if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror in the larger potion. This is going to be great whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway, or trying to park our trailer. If I step out even further, we're going to have even more field of view, which makes it just safer whenever we're pulling our trailer, or trying to park it. Our towing mirror is going to be fully adjustable to change your field of view. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2013 Kia Sportage- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sportage we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in my factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me. Now that's when our towing mirror's going to come into play. It's going to allow us to see what's outside directly behind us, and that's going to benefit us whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, backing our trailer up, or even pulling up to the camp ground. Now our towing mirror is going to have two mirrors. The larger flat mirror is going to give us a accurate depiction of what's directly behind us, where as the smaller mirror here is going to be a convex mirror and it's going to act more of a spot mirror. Now we're still going to have full adjustment on both mirrors, being able to adjust them up and down, to the left and right, and even diagonally to get that perfect angle to see what's behind us. Now even though our mirror is going to mount to our mirror housing we're not going to lose any movement in our factory mirror, and we're still going to be able to adjust it. more

Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA dual view clip on towing mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer. You can clearly see me in our factory mirror. When I step to the side, you lose track of me in the factory mirror, but you can clearly see me in our towing mirror. Now, the benefit of having this is when you go to change lanes, you can clearly see what's at the back of your trailer, and not just your vehicle, or if you're parking, or even getting into the campsite it's going to help you out with a wide range of visibility. Now our large mirror here is going to give you an accurate picture of what's directly behind you, whereas our convex mirror here is going to act like a spot mirror. It's going to give you that added security of letting you know what's around you. more

CIPA Clamp On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be taking a look at the Cipa Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. Here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in our factory mirror. But if I step out to the outside, you lose sight of me in the factory mirror, but you can clearly see me in our towing mirror. Now this is going to come in handy when you're towing a trailer, you need to change lanes, back up, or even park at a campsite or anything like that. Here's what our towing mirror looks like fully installed, and we're actually going to have full adjustment of our towing mirror here. You can adjust up and down, as well as side to side, and if you need a more wide angle, you can actually turn the mirror and get a wider angle like this. Now even with our towing mirror installed, we're still going to retain all movement of our factory mirror, being able to tilt it up and down, as well as side to side, and diagonally. Now even with our towing mirror on, we're still going to be able to use and retain our factory turn signal in our mirror. The one thing we are going to lose if we leave our towing mirror on, is we're not going to be able to fold our factory mirror in all the way, because it is going to make contact on the towing mirror against the door. This is a tool-free design when installing it. more

It is going to allow us to safely, easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I am visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, this is the view you would get with just your factory mirror. The mirror can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to most angles, got a left and right, up and down, and even diagonal. By simply loosening up the large nut up top here, we can adjust our mirror out, to better suit our towing needs. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2005 Kia Sedona- Video
Speaker1: Today on our 2005 Kia Sedona we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Clip-On Towing Mirror. Part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles, we've got our up and down, side to side, and we even have diagonal. By simply removing the Phillips Head screw behind the mirror at the back, we can rotate it to the vertical position. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can even still rotate it in. I'm here on the passenger side of my Kia Sedona and to begin our test fit we'll need to first turn our mirror over, and we need to make sure that each one of our four tabs here is open up. more
